Mother against Ontario's Sex Ed. Curriculum

I'am personally offended when people say they are for Ontario's new sex education curriculum. When you are standing for this, you are standing against me. I take it personally because if this goes through, something is being taken stolen from me; My right to educate my children when they are ready for it. Nothing is being taken from the people who are for it. They can choose to implement the curriculum on their own, with their children at home.

I am very uncomfortable with someone I am barely acquainted with teaching my children about their genitalia and sex. This is going to make our children comfortable talking with other adults about sex as well; Which in turn leaves them vulnerable to predators.

Its is the parents job to teach their children about sex, and to develop a open relationship so the child is comfortable coming to them with questions or concerns. Maybe some people are falling short, but that does not mean that this is the way to correct it.

There is no way I will allow my to participate in this. I hope you will stand with me.
